Name Every Hall of FamerLocation Austin, TX
Summer Anne Burton is drawing a picture of every member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. That’s 295 drawings, each studded with annotations, stats, and quotes, in the order they were inducted. Starting last year with Ty Cobb, who was inducted in 1936, today she’s up to 1978 with Eddie Mathews. Summer got the idea after posting drawings of baseball players on her blog. As she told ESPN.com, “I had some old Astros programs that my grandmother found in her garage and gave to me, so I started drawing all these old Astros players I’d never heard of before, and I got really into it. And then it hit me as a fully formed idea: I’m just gonna draw every Hall of Famer.” Summer also enjoys bad TV, good books, and tacos.

We’re in Chicago next week for the AWP writers conference and will be throwing a happy hour for Tumblr writers of all stripes. We’d love to see you there.
The venue, Uncharted Books, is a new bookstore funded on Kickstarter which had a Tumblr blog before it was born. It’s a dream spot for book-web-community nerds and we absolutely can’t wait to see it (and all of you.)
